How to Keep Your Eyes Healthy and Bright

When you meet someone, first you see her or his eyes. Eyes are like a mirror. You can see good things or bad thing, and this is not only metaphorical specking, your eyes reveal not only your beauty but also it shows how healthy you are.

Wrinkles
Wrinkles are face undergoes changes in the skin caused by face expression over time, and skin is losing its natural elasticity. These tiny lines are sometime the result of dehydration caused by dry environment lack of hydration and a poor diet.

Feed Your Collagen

You need to support the underlying of your skin by feeding your collagen. Omega 3 fatty acids that you will find in salmon will help your collagen production.

You need vitamin C and A too. Eat foods rich in vitamin C and A as apples, carrots, watercress or citrus.

A poor diet in antioxidants and vitamins will contribute to your skin wrinkles and other damages.

Quit Smoking

Cigarettes are consuming your skin of nutrients and oxygen. Your skin needs those to do its repairs.

Protect Yourself from Sun Damage

Sun can damage your skin and cause paw wrinkles most notably around your eyes. When you are going out be sure to wear UVA/UVB protective sunglasses.

Be Gentle to Your Eyes

Be gentle when you remove your eye makeup. Do not ever use abrasive scrubs around or near your eye. Use antioxidants rich eye cream or gel in the morning and for the night.

Dark Circles

There are many causes for dark circles, and they will give you an old and tired look:

  1. Too much pigmentation, congestion or allergy.
  2.  Melanin in excess; this pigment is deposited in the skin beneath the eye.
  3. Swelling around your eye area.
  4. Shadowing due to the loose skin.
  5. Your thin and translucent eye skin.
  6. Another cause for the dark circles is lack of sleep; try to sleep at least eight hours.

Puffy Eyes

Puffy eyes are caused by lack of sleep. Excess salt intake and hormones can also play a role. Puffy eyes may be the result of allergy as fabric, feather, and environmental allergen.

You can reduce your puffiness by avoid caffeine, soft drinks, salt. Be sure you drink plenty of water. When you sleep adjust your pillow to have your head elevate and to limit the pooling of fluid around your eyes. To minimize your morning puffiness, have a cool gel mask with slices cucumber for 10-15 minutes.

Use Natural Skin Care Products

When you buy skin care products, look for natural ingredients for your eyes.

  5. Jojoba

Friendly Skin Nutrients

  1. Camomile
