Green Juice

Ingredients:

– Spinach- 2cups
– Celery sticks
– Sliced Cucumbers- 2cups
– Parsley – one little bunch
– 2 Apples
– Ginger Root
– Juice from a fresh squeezed Lemon.

Mix all these ingredients in blender a juicer or blender and strain to get only the juice without ingredient pulp.

Another drink recommended by Dr. Oz is with green leaves and green leaves that you can also mix in your blender:

– Pineapple – 1/2cup
– Spinach – 4cups
– 2 Cucumbers
– Fresh squeezed Juice from half a Lemon

– Boil 1 cup water 1/2 cup quinoa, 1 teaspoon grated ginger and a little nutmeg
– Leave to boil under lid over for 10 minutes
– Add 1/2 cup pitted prunes and 1/4 cup rice milk
– Cover and let simmer another five minutes.

Vegetable Soup

Ingredients for a vegetable soup you:

    – Water – 2 liters; Celery – 2 sticks; 2 red onions; Parsley – 1little bunch
   – 4 cloves of garlic; 1 bulb fennel; 1 small Cabbage;
    – Mushrooms – 1 cup;  2 tablespoons Oregano ; 2 teaspoons cumin
    – 2 teaspoons salt; 2 tablespoons Paprika; Cayenne Pepper

Boil all these ingredients over low heat for at least one hour.

Fennel is great for bile stimulating; Parsley has a diuretic effect and Cayenne pepper helps to detoxify your liver.

Sauerkraut & Dill

Dr. Oz highly recommends finishing your dinner with a small bowl of sauerkraut that contains probiotic. It helps to remove toxins from your gastrointestinal tract. Add some apple slices to your bowl with sauerkraut for extra fiber.

Fruit Smoothies

Ingredients:

– Almond Milk – 1/2cup
– Unsweetened Soy or Hemp
– Chia Seeds or Flax – 1 tablespoon
– Frozen Blueberries, Raspberries or Cranberries
– ¼ Banana
– Ice
