If you are not convinced that it is time to keep a diet with lemon and chamomile, you should know that this diet not only helps you get rid of extra pounds, but also of stress.

Lemon and chamomile diet requires consuming daily 3-4 cups of chamomile tea enriched with lemon juice. Depending on the weight, you can increase the amount of lemon juice or you can reduce it. However, it is important not to add a lemon juice quantity that can make your tea unpleasant as taste.

Chamomile tea is excellent for stimulating digestion, to acquire satiety and to clean your body of toxins. Therefore, it is recommended to consume chamomile tea before each meal, to be sure that the food you eat will be digested quickly.  Once the feeling of fullness is installed, you’ll be tempted to eat much less food, which means you reduce your caloric intake and lose weight without effort and sacrifice.

Stress is one of the main factors that promote weight gain. Have you noticed that you have the tendency to gain weight in examination session, or often you get cravings for sweets and other unhealthy snacks when you have finished an important project at work? These manifestations are nothing else than the effects of stress and high cortisol production. Chamomile tea has a calming effect and acts directly on cortisol, reducing its level.

Dieting with Lemon and Chamomile

Chamomile and lemon diet requires, as I said above, to consume 3-4 cups of chamomile tea with lemon every day. For the rest, breakfast, lunch, dinner and the two essential snacks can be taken as usual.

However, for you to be sure that your diet will give satisfactory results, it is advisable to give up the foods that contain fat (fatty pork, cream, fast food) and all other highly processed foods such as white rice cakes, white bread, candy, sweets and pastries.

Try to eat in general, whole grains vegetables, fresh fruits, lean meats, low-fat dairy (especially yogurt) and fish.

Lemon and chamomile diet lasts 7-14 days. Please note that lemon chamomile tea has a diuretic effect, but also has an anticoagulant effect.  Therefore, if you follow a treatment with anticoagulants is recommended not to start this diet.
