Cabbage Soup Diet

Par excellence, cabbage is a miracle food; able to stimulate the liver (lipid metabolism facilitating) to detoxify the body and increase body diuresis, but you will need greater amounts of water to drink than currently.

Used as soup, cabbage manages to reduce your body weight up to 5-6 pounds a week.

Can you believe it? Cabbage soup diet is the diet where the more soup you eat the more weight you should lose.

Cabbage Soup Diet is already famous among fans diets. One reason is that it is very effective.

Few are those who have kept this regime and not losing weight.

It is very good as a method of detoxification of the body and rapid weight loss. After all, dieters love to hear that they can eat unlimited amounts of food and still lose weight fast.

The only disadvantage would be an imbalance in nutrients and you should be cautious in following it.

As with any other diets, care is required and you should consult your doctor if you have any health concerns.

However, this is not a very nutritionally sound plan and certainly not one to live on. The regime should not last more than seven days.

Some people may feel weak, nervous and lacking energy. If these symptoms are severe you should drop the diet.

Cabbage Soup Preparation
  1. Ingredients: tomatoes-1 kilo;  a large cabbage or two medium-2 kilos; 3 peppers; carrots; 2 celery; 8 threads of leek; parsley; garlic; onion; dill; salt and pepper.
  2. Preparation: Place vegetables in a pot with water (3 gallons), and when the soup begins to boil add the dill and parsley, then let simmer for 10 minutes.
The Seven Days Diet

Day 1

  • Cabbage soup in any quantity.
  • Fruit (but no banana)
  • Plain water; unsweetened tea; black coffee; cranberry juice;

Day 2

  • Cabbage soup in any quantity.
  • Cooked or fresh vegetables, except beans, peas, corn.
  • A baked potato with butter for dinner.

Day 3

  • Cabbage soup in any quantity.
  • Fruits and vegetables.
  • Plain water.

Day 4

  • Cabbage soup in any quantity.
  • 3 bananas.
  • Plain water; skimmed milk in any quantity.

Day 5

  • Cabbage soup in any quantity.
  • 300-500 grams of beef (fish) or chicken (skinless) Boiled or grilled.
  • Tomato salad with a little oil.

Day 6

  • Cabbage soup in any quantity.
  • Boiled rice; vegetables (NO beans, peas, corn, baked potato).
  • 300-500 grams of lean meat boiled or grilled.

Day 7

  • Cabbage soup in any quantity.
  • Vegetables (NO beans, peas, corn, baked potato).
  • Boiled rice.

Throughout the diet do not eat bread, do not drink juice, alcohol or carbonated mineral water. It is recommended that every day to drink at least two liters of water. During the diet take a multivitamin supplement.
